Particle Size Analyzer, PSS NICOMP Nano, N 3000
To identify the size of nanomaterials in the solution which is very important in the different fields of nanotechnology. The Nicomp N3000 is a nanoparticle size analyzer. It is based on the well-known technique of Dynamic Light Scattering or DLS. The Nicomp N3000 features the high-resolution, multimodal Laplace transform called the Nicomp algorithm for sizing. The Nicomp algorithm, over the years, has demonstrated a superior ability to detect and separate multimodal distributions as well as primary peaks from aggregate peaks.
Tasks and applications
Dynamic Light Scattering is an ideal method for sizing proteins, colloids, emulsions, nanoparticles, CMPs, inkjet inks,and a variety of other dispersions used in nanotechnology and medicine. The Nicomp N3000 has been designed using a flexible approach so that the instrument can be customized for a wide variety of applications. This customizability even allows for the addition of Electrophoretic Light Scattering or ELS to measure zeta potential and Multi-angle Static Light Scattering for molecular weight determination. This makes the Nicomp N3000 a three-dimensional tool for the full analysis of proteins and other complex biomolecules.
